Ramachandra Boss & Co : Malayalam Movie Review

Cast : Nivin Pauly, Mamitha Baiju, Vinay Forrt, Jaffar Idukki.

Ramachandra Boss and Co the Malayalam Heist comedy Movie written and directed by Haneef Adeni and Produced by Listin Stephen and Nivin Pauly,  fails to generate the excitement related with the heist movie it was planned to be. The only heist that the writer, director succeeded in was getting all these talented artistes to work on this silly idea of his. This is made with a mindset of a spoof movie and nothing in the movie will make you want to sit through till the end.

The plot of Malayalam comedy Movie, Ramachandra Boss and Co is rather basic, with an expensive painting that needs to be stolen from a mansion having high security. The only novelty seen is that the heist is set in middle east with chances of using flashy security devices. The Heist idea has been used in the shows like Money Heist, etc and does not generate sufficient interest. The director Haneef Adeni has not tried to bring any new ideas into the Heist or to emphasise on the characters. All characters have a common background of family issues requiring money, nothing more is known about them. Despite an array of talented artistes, only Vinay Forrt seems have done some noticeable comedy.

Even Vinay Forrt has been given only limited space, he is shown behaving shady around women. The villain’s eccentric part is also ruined by the actor not contributing much to his role. The Villain is shown to kill people using a flute, but the actor somehow fails to catch the viewer’s attention, He looks frail, defensive and silly in front of these novices. Ramachandra Boss and Co is not a Malayalam movie I would like to spend my Onam holiday watching.
