Fahadh Faasil returns to Mollywood with ‘Aavesham‘, directed by Jithu Madhavan. He potrays the character of a goon in the film, which is based on genuine events. Fahadh Faasil is all set to return to his country, M-Town, with ‘Aavesham’ in a full fledged masala role of ‘Don Ranga’ which is different from his past appearances. He is starring in Jithu Madhavan’s (Romancham fame) second directorial venture ‘Aavesham’. The Team ‘Aavesham’ had released a trailer, which affirmed that Fahadh Faasil will be portraying a goon. The star has himself now announced the release date. Fahadh Faasil dropped a poster for the film ‘Aavesham’ and said, “‘Aavesham’ in your nearby theaters from April 11, 2024 onwards!”
‘Aavesham’ is directed by Jithu Madhavan, who debuted with the blockbuster ‘Romancham’, an year ago . Featuring Fahadh Faasil, ‘Aavesham’ cast also includes Manzoor Ali Khan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sajin Gopu, the popular Malayali gamer and Youtuber Hipzster, Mithun JS, Roshan Shanavas, Pooja Mohanraj, Neeraja Rajendran, Sreejith Nair, and Thankam Mohan in important roles.
‘Aavesham’ is about a group of college students and a goon who comes to assist them. Much like ‘Romancham’, the story of ‘Aavesham’ as well is said to be based on real events. Aavesham has three college freshmen from Kerala in Bengaluru, who decide to unite all freshers to escape ragging, but end up being kidnapped and thrashed by seniors for two full days.
Their search for a local support who can assist them in taking revenge on the seniors, ends in meeting Ranga who is a full fledged goon dressed in white from head to toe and wearing a ton of gold jewellery. So they bring Ranga the goon into their college and this is the beginning of the story. On the movie tech side, Sameer Thahir handles the cinematography of the film, and Vivek Harshan is in charge of the editing. The music for the film is composed by Sushin Shyam, and the lyrics are by Vinayak Sasikumar. The film is slated for a festival release amid the Vishu-Eid season.
